Each helmet features Uvex's new "roll bar" technology,
ensuring evenly distributed pressure on the helmet shell in case of
impact. This technology allows for an ultra-lightweight helmet
construction featuring an extremely high-impact resistance.
Made using inmould technology and a Makrolon microshell, each helmet
provides the highest level of safety available. This lightweight construction also enables Uvex to
include more ventilation openings without compromising the helmet's
integrity.
The real "magic" of the
Uvex helmet is found in its "Individual Adapting System". The
Uvex IAS utilizes a ratcheting halo band that can be snugged tightly
by turning a dial with a single hand. For an even
better fit, the Uvex helmet features the only ratcheting chin strap
on the market. The chin strap can also be adjusted with a
single hand for a perfect fit every time.
Uvex helmets range in price
from $40.00 for the best-fitting children's models to $150.00
for the same helmet worn by the T-Mobile cycling team.

from $50 - $80, Uvex lenses offer cold adjustable grip-temple ends,
temple locking, decentered lenses for distortion-free viewing,
draft-free ventilation, anti-allergical, ultrasoft nosepads, and
easy changeable lenses (for most models). Eight different
lenses are available throughout the ten models ensuring a style and
protection level for all needs. 7 of the 10 models are
multi-lens sets; 1 features 4 lenses, 4 feature 3 lenses, and 2
