6, 2006 to Sunday May 7, 2006: Harmonie Hundred Bike
Weekend, New Harmony, IN. A 2-day ride through and
around the New Harmony area. The town will come alive with hundred
of bicycle enthusiasts and families, who have come to enjoy southern
Indiana hospitality at its best and want to help raise funds for
the New Harmony High School Washington DC trip.
Each day will
offer an enjoyable 50 and 27 mile ride through the scenic
roadways of Posey & Gibson counties area. Registration fees for
either or both days include lunch or brunch, snacks along the way,
and musical entertainment. This is one of the earliest tours of the
season. The flowers are blooming and the weather is warming!

Saturday, June 3, 2006: Twin Cities Tour de Cure.
Begin and end your ride at the Lake Harriet Bandshell in
Minneapolis. Various route distances available from a 6-mile
family ride around Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun to a 25 or 50-mile
loop(s) around theChain of Lakes, through downtown Minneapolis and
along West River and Minnehaha Parkways. New this year is the
45-mile route. This new route will take the same path as the
25-mile route until you reach Minnehaha Falls. From the Minnehaha
Falls rest stop, your 45-mile journey will take you into St. Paul
via the Ford Bridge. After you cross the Ford Bridge you will
ride through downtown St. Paul to Harriet Island. From
Harriet Island you will head back to Minnehaha Falls via Lilydale
Trail. After the ride enjoy the post ride celebration complete
with lunch donated by Outback Steakhouse.
Saturday, June 3, 2006: Rochester Tour de
Cure. Cyclists will begin and end at the Silver Lake
Park East Side Shelter. Choosing one of four distances, from a
12-mile family ride to a challenging 60-mile ride, cyclists will
ride along the scenic roads of Olmsted County via the South Fork
Zumbro Trail. After this accomplishment, riders will be
treated to lunch donated by Outback Steakhouse and a massage from
Sister Rosalind Gefre's School of Massage.
Saturday, June 3, 2006: Tour de Cure at the
Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Have you ever wanted to take your OWN laps around the
world-famous Brickyard? Here's your chance! Grab your bicycle and
meet us at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the 2006 Indiana Tour
de Cure! Last year's ride brought in over 500 cyclists from 9
different states--and all for a good cause--funds raised from the
ride help support diabetes research, information and advocacy
programs.
Whether you choose to cycle the 25K, 50K, or 75K Road Rides,
around the actual Track, or a combination of both, you'll begin and
end your ride at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's Pagoda. The Track
will be open from 8:00am-2:00pm. Ride leisurely laps all day with
your family and friends, or take a few "victory laps" after your
Road Ride. Either way, you'll enjoy this unique opportunity to get
up close and personal with this historic venue!
Take the Team Challenge! Round up a group of 5 or more riders
and ride as a Team! Teams and Team Captains will be eligible for
special prizes and awards, including the coveted "Top Team"
traveling trophy, which is passed along to our highest fundraising

Flat to
rolling hills in Lake Country and Kettle Moraine Forest. Routes for
all levels of bicyclists. What makes
this Ride great; Beautiful country ride past more than 7

Rest Stops, with Famous Dave's Buffalo Wings as a special treat for
century riders; great door prizes; free goody-bag to

September 10, 2006: Saint Paul Classic Bike Tour.
Join us for the 12th
Annual Saint Paul Classic Bike Tour - Minnesota's Biggest
Ride. Choose from a 15- or 31- mile course, exploring the
city's parkways, historic neighborhoods, and revitalized
riverfront. This go-at-your-own-pace tour is great for
families and riders at all skill levels. The route features
numerous rest stops with tasty food, cold beverages, and live
music. The event is 98% waste free, thanks to recycling and
compost stations along the route. This ride is a fundraiser

2006: Last year’s Tour de Sprawl was our
10th annual ride. It was our biggest and best
yet! The Tour de Sprawl is a great way to learn about
development, open space preservation, and transportation issues all
from the seat of your bicycle. Last year our speakers ranged from
the National Park Service to developers and neighborhood activists.

2006: Pedal The Kettle, a scenic road
bicycle ride into the southern Kettle Moraine of 30, 64, or 100
miles, will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2006. This annual
ride is hosted by the Spring City Spinners Bicycle Club in Waukesha.
The ride begins and ends at Meadowbrook School in Waukesha
and is fully supported with rest stops, sag vehicles and a post
ride meal all for a $25 entry fee. Start times are 7:00am to 8:00am
for the 100 mile route, 7:00am to 9:00am for the 64 mile route and
7:00am to 10:00am for the 30 mile route. For more
