cenic, shaded, straight and smooth.  These adjectives best describe one of Illinois’ premier bicycle paths, The Illinois and Michigan Canal Bicycle Trail.  The trail runs along the former towpath of the I & M Canal from Lockport, just southeast of Chicago, to La Salle, just west of Starved Rock State Park.
